Service Day with WorldDenver

19 Mar 2019 @ 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

CYL is hosting a service project with WorldDenver, as they bring in a group of teens from Chile and Argentina. In this unique Service Adventure, high school students will have the opportunity to serve alongside other students, while from a different part of the world, share similar values. Young Leaders will learn about multiculturalism and global activism while serving locally. In the morning, students will be listening to young adults who are advocates for specific issues impacting Denverites. We will have lunch together and serve in the afternoon with Soles4Souls. Denver area teens will have the opportunity to hang out with Chilean and Argentinian students, practice their Spanish and learn from peers! If you are looking for a fun and unique way to spend spring break, this is it!
World Denver is a nonprofit that offers people-to-people exchanges and their youth ambassadors program brings in HS students from other countries to partner with U.S. high school students to engage in community service projects, visit with local governments and non-profit orgs, etc!
Please sign up quickly as we only have 6 available on this day! This is a free Service Adventure; transportation and lunch are included in the day. We will pick you up and drop you off at the end of the day.
